This Privacy Policy explains how VastraLoop collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects user data across the website and app experience. It is intended to support Google Play privacy requirements and help users understand how their information is handled.

Data We Collect
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, pickup address, account details, order information, rental details, payment references, bank account or UPI refund details, and images uploaded by you for product listings, donations, return requests, or payment verification.
Permissions Used
Internet access is required so the app can load products, create accounts, process orders, process rentals, and sync with Firebase services. Storage or photo access may be used when you choose images to upload. Camera access is optional and may be used if you choose to capture listing images, donation photos, payment screenshots, or return proof directly from your device.
How We Use Data
Your data is used to create and manage your account, process purchases, enable rental booking and return workflows, arrange donation pickup review, verify manual UPI payments, process approved refunds to your selected bank or UPI details, support customer service, prevent fraud or misuse, and improve the VastraLoop platform.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only as needed with service providers and platform tools used to operate the app, such as Firebase for authentication and database services, image hosting providers for uploaded media, payment service providers for payment processing, and authorised admin reviewers who verify listings, donations, returns, and payment proof. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect platform safety.
Security
We use Firebase-backed services and secured web connections to help protect stored and transmitted data. Access to marketplace moderation, payment review, return review, and donation review is limited to authorised admin users only. Even with reasonable safeguards, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and Deletion
We keep account, order, rental, donation, and support records only as long as reasonably necessary for app functionality, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, and customer support. When users request deletion, we review and remove or anonymise account data where possible. Some records, such as completed transaction, refund, or policy-compliance records, may be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Your Rights
You can request account deletion from within the app and contact us for data-related questions or account support. You may also request correction of account details that are inaccurate. Account deletion requests are reviewed, and associated personal data is deleted or anonymised subject to legal, fraud-prevention, and operational retention requirements.
Children and Policy Updates
VastraLoop is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate legal basis. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal updates, or policy requirements. Continued use of the service after updates means the revised policy applies.
